Gnostech Inc., a growing technology solutions company, has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer to support their growing engineering services business. This position requires a motivated individual who seeks to work in a team environment where creative solutions are encouraged, technically challenging problems are the norm and the focus is on the application of new technologies to real world problems. The on-site location for this position is Warminster, PA.

Specifically, this Systems Engineer is needed to support a small team developing a multiple-security level system incorporating virtual environments and VPN technology. Applicant will assist in the support and sustainment of the current products and take part in researching new technologies and architecture for future systems development and upgrades. The applicant must have a hunger for knowledge and an interest in understanding the latest advancements in technology as it relates to the product line.

Shift: M-F, Days (optional RDO schedule)
Travel: Less than 10% (maybe 4-5 weeks per year)

Position Responsibilities

• Support the current line of products, helping maintain system security posture and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Assist in the research and evaluation of new technology and solutions to help drive the product line into the next generation.
• Participate in the development of technical documentation, user manuals, white papers, and presentations.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of DoD and commercial security regulations.

Minimum Security Clearance

• Secret clearance required
• Final TS preferred

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with computer hardware/software integration
• Experience with Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Familiarity with networking/network hardware, especially VPN technologies and Cisco
• Familiarity with Linux SE experience and Linux Security Module
• Familiarity with virtualization software
• Client/server deployment experience
• BA/BS four-year degree in a computer/engineering field
• 0-15 of experience in a related field
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented personality
• Applicant must be a US citizen

Additional Desired Qualifications, Skills, Certifications

• Familiarity with multi-security level and cross-domain solutions and implementation
• Familiarity with Splunk
• Familiarity with XML, JAVA, CSS
• Experience with Cybersecurity practices and vulnerability scanning tools
• DoD related project background and technical writing

Education and Training Required

• BA/BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field and equivalent experience
